How to Receive Your Cake

Pick-Up or Local Delivery

I’m based in Shutesbury, MA (Western Mass) and you can either pick up your cake from me directly or arrange a pick-up spot within 30 minutes of my location.

I’ll reach out within 24 hours of your order to arrange a convenient time and place for pick-up or delivery. Most days are available—let’s make it easy for you to enjoy your cake!

2-Day Shipping

Your cake will arrive carefully packaged in a sturdy styrofoam box, tucked inside a thermal envelope, and vacuum-sealed for maximum freshness. I primarily ship to New England and the Tri-State Area, but if you’re outside this range, feel free to reach out—I’ve even shipped to Mexico before!

  • Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail (2-day delivery) and typically costs around $16.

  • During busy holiday weeks like Thanksgiving or Christmas, delivery times may be longer, so it’s best to order early.

  • To reduce waste, I require a $20 deposit for packaging. Once you’ve enjoyed your cake, simply use the included return label to send back the packaging—styrofoam box, thermal envelope, and cake form—to your nearest USPS office. Your deposit will be refunded as soon as I receive the packing supplies. Thank you for helping me keep things delicious and eco-friendly!

How to Enjoy Your Cake

Think of your cake as a blend between an ice cream cake and a frozen cheesecake—it’s best served slightly chilled for that perfect creamy texture. Here's how to get the most out of every slice:

If you’re serving the whole cake:

  • Once you get your cake, pop it into the freezer for at least 6 hours.
Move the cake from the freezer to the fridge about 6 hours before serving. (Every freezer and fridge varies, so adjust as needed.)

  • Alternatively, take it out of the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before cutting. Once sliced, let the pieces thaw on plates for about 15 minutes.

  • The ideal temperature is slightly cold but not frozen—creamy, smooth, and full of flavor.

If you’re enjoying it by the slice:

  • Keep the cake in the freezer and cut a slice when you’re ready to indulge. Let the slice thaw on a plate for 15–20 minutes before serving.

  • Be sure to return the rest of the cake to the freezer to keep it fresh.

A few tips for best results:

  • To cut the cake, slide it (on its parchment paper) from the springform base onto a cutting board. Slice what you need, then return the cake to the springform and back into the freezer.

  • Cakes can stay fresh in the freezer for weeks—but make sure your freezer is free from strong odors, as the cake can absorb them over time.

Enjoy every bite—it’s dessert, reimagined!
